Terms of Service
By creating an account or using WebWatch, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
1. The service
WebWatch is a website monitoring tool from JR Digital. It runs on-demand checks against any public URL and, for registered users, performs scheduled checks against saved sites with email alerts.
2. Accounts
- You must provide a valid email address when registering.
- You are responsible for the security of your password and any activity under your account.
- One account per person. Sharing credentials is not permitted.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use WebWatch to:
- Monitor sites you do not own or have permission to monitor at high frequency.
- Stress-test, attack, or otherwise disrupt third-party services.
- Bypass rate limits, scrape protected content, or evade anti-abuse measures.
- Engage in any unlawful activity.
We may suspend any account that misuses the service.
4. Plans and payments
- Free accounts can save up to 10 sites with 5-minute check intervals.
- Premium is a one-time £2.99 payment that unlocks 50 saved sites and 1-minute check intervals.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your card details.
- All payments are non-refundable except where required by law.
5. Service availability
- WebWatch is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, alert delivery, or that every outage will be detected.
- Monitoring is performed from a single UK region and reflects access from that vantage point.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, JR Digital is not liable for any loss or damage arising from missed alerts, monitoring inaccuracies, downtime of WebWatch itself, or reliance on the service. Use is at your own risk.
7. Termination
You can delete your account at any time from the Settings page. Deletion permanently removes your account, saved sites, and monitoring history. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
8. Changes
We may update these terms or change the service at any time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
